Not long ago I bought my elderly aunt a massage recliner chair on her birthday. She's got an awful back and poor posture and frequently goes to the Chiropractor for massages and correction of her posture. After I had calmed her down and she had unwrapped it (after the point she believed it was some kind of gaming chair or Lazeebot!), she was happy and quickly desired to plug it in and utilize it. The shiatsu massage chair which I bought had several massage therapy and heating configurations. My aunt likes the pulsating configuring at a moderate to high heat.
Her chiropractor has noticed an improvement in her posture and back muscles - probably because she utilizes her massage chair every evening while she sits while watching TV! I will also purchase one for my own for sitting in front of my TV, not for improving posture or back aches, but for playing on my PS3! It's mega comfortable, and I would recommend it for anybody, specifically for an aunt's birthday!
