Iscar Releases A Revolutionary Line Of Slitting Cutters Using Tang-Grip Technology And The Sturdiness Of Sumo Tec Grades
Iscar now offers a family of high-performance slitting tools that couple the convenience and security of Tang-Grip clamping with the added strength of the completely new Sumo Tec insert grades.
The conception, already confirmed effective in Tang-Grip parting tools, has now been extended to slitting cutters. In the patented Tang-Grip clamping system, inserts are press-fit into their pockets accompanying a special hand tool, and are retained securely in place without the need without requiring clamps, upper jaws or set screws that can weaken the insert and hinder chip flow.
